Commissioned in Military Nursing Service, she has a vast experience in clinical nursing mostly in critical care, teaching, disaster management and NBC (nuclear, biological & chemical) warfare protection techniques. Transitioning to academia, she served as a visiting faculty at the National Institute of Locomotor Disability, Kolkata, while actively engaging in research and academic pursuits, leading to numerous projects and publications.

Her exceptional leadership as a member of the Nursing Research Society of India’s executive committee and the esteemed editor of its journal, along with her membership in the highly regarded Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, showcase her commitment to advancing the field.
